Rescue Oasis is Now Open!

Pools, water slides, playgrounds and splash pad all rolled into one amazing and brand new space

Rescue Oasis includes Soak Station 309 Splash Pad, Rescue Oasis Park, and Oasis Swim Center. (All those names seem a bit confusing but we’ll see what names stick once families start hanging out there and talking about it.) Squeals of delight could be heard from the parking lot at this new aquatic center that just opened up this past weekend. Located at Cactus and Perryville in Surprise it is well worth the drive to get there. Kids of all ages were having a blast so yours would probably have lots of fun too.

Because there’s a fire station right there, the splash pad is themed to match and has a great big fire truck. The designers were smart and put a huge canopy over the splash pad so it is entirely covered. The kids can play away and parents do not have to worry about too much direct sun.

If you’ve got older kids, there’s a basketball court they might like. Take a look at the photo and you’ll see the unique mural on the court floor! There is also a sand volleyball court.

On the other side of the splash pad is playground equipment separated out by age levels. So even if you or the kids aren't doing the water play, there’s still fun to be had at the regular playground.

Around through another entrance area are the pools. There is a recreational pool with zero depth entry and 6 water slides, a heated Olympic-size pool to accommodate competitive swim meets and a warm-up/dive pool with three rock walls and a rope swing. It also includes a concession stand and multiple shaded ramadas so you can really spend the day there comfortably with these amenities. While the play areas and splash pad opened this past weekend, the pools will open Memorial Day weekend.

Now that you might be thinking you want to pack up the kids and go play there, here are the details:

  • 12361 N Perryville Rd, Surprise, AZ 85388
  • Playground and splash pad are free and open typical park hours
  • Summer swim passes are not available for Oasis Swim Center .

Hope you get the chance to check it out. It’s a great option for summer time fun!
