For a kid, life doesn't get much better than when there's the chance to go swimming. Luckily for all of us West Valley families, there are options, many of them with slides and other amenities that take this fun summer tradition to the next level! And while just splashing around is great, the public pools also offer lessons and team programs so check those out too.
Head over to our GUIDE which has a listing of the pools in El Mirage, Peoria, and Surprise along with information and links to help you plan your visit.
You may have heard about the new aquatic center in Surprise, Rescue Oasis. It's a playground, splash pad, swimming pool (as in lanes and swim team), playing pool (as in slides and rock walls) extravaganza. To learn more about it and see photos, go here.
If full on swimming is not what you have in mind but you do want to cool down, here's info on the area's splash pads.
Happy Summertime Swimming!
