At the start of each football season, the public is invited to come watch the Cardinals practice at their Training Camp and then, at the end, maybe get some autographs.
Even if your family is not a super fan, 100% devoted to the team, it’s a unique “behind the scenes” chance to watch the players warm up, break out into their training groups, and practice. Sometimes they even ham up to the crowd! The mascot and cheerleaders are there, the concession stands are open, you can purchase Cardinal fan gear, and the Kids Interactive Zone play area is open. The music is going at the stadium and there are lots of fans, families, and kids there making it a fun environment. And, while game day tickets may be so expensive you don’t always get get to sit very close to the field, in this setting, there is no assigned seating. This enables you to get down low and close to the field for a great view. All and all, it makes for a great family outing!

Tickets are free, as is parking at State Farm Stadium (the back, east facing lot), but you do need to register and get your “tickets” in advance! The link is https://www.azcardinals.com/events/training-camp/ and an overview of the whole event is here. Normal game day security screenings and personal item policies are in effect.
If you’ve got a young athlete, or are fans of football, you won’t want to miss the chance to go see the professionals in action and up close!
